You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world.  You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

Property rights

Whose hands are these?

Do we have the "right" to own land?  A human is an animal.  Do any animals other than humans own land?  They might use a small amount of land as their "home", and they might defend their need to use that land for their survival, but do they own it?  Did they have to purchase it?  Do they ever sell it?

The issue of property rights is called into question by Agenda 21.  Communism and socialism before it also called into question property rights.  Capitalism, of course, insists on property rights.  Capitalism thinks everything can be owned, from the land to the ideas of an individual to the very arrangement of your genes.  Is the issue of property rights then a con-game of the rich to maintain their power and control over the poor?

Native American peoples had a different concept of land use.  They understood that the land endured much longer than any one man, that it was essentially "on loan" from the Great Spirit to all living things for their needs.  The idea that one could "own" what the Great Spirit provided was ludicrous.

There are now about 7 billion people on the planet.  There are about 55.5 million square miles of land above water.  If we allow private ownership of half the available land, each person could own .0039 square miles of land, or about 2.5 acres.  It could be argued that anyone owning more than 2.5 acres is a selfish criminal.  Property rights conveniently nullify that idea.  That works well for the queen of England, who supposedly owns 6.6 billion (6,600,000,000) acres of land.  That's a lot more than 2, and potentially selfish to the extreme.

Could the queen be a sociopath?

I'm beginning to question my brainwashing again, this time with respect to property rights.  I have been conditioned to believe property rights are sacrosanct, not to be questioned, and the foundation of my country which was constructed on the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  Yeah, right.  Obviously, I have been thoroughly brainwashed to believe such lies.  Rich, white landowners founded my country.  They had property holdings to protect -- Mount Vernon, Monticello, and lots of other large tracts of land.  I can see the conflict of interest, so it's no wonder property rights are so revered in America, just as they were in feudalistic Europe, where the Lords (the 1%) grew richer off the indentured sweat of the serfs (the 99%).

Hey, wait a minute!  The 1% and the 99%?  You mean the same thing is happening today in the USA?

Could the president be a sociopath?

Feed yourself

A beautiful mind.

Last night, on my 55th birthday anniversary, an intangible gift from Heaven blew my mind.

Oh, I received some other extraordinary gifts yesterday that had already marked this birthday as a very special day indeed in my otherwise mundane and unremarkable existence.  My young and head-strong friend Over Unity continued to butt heads with me, allowing me to analyze and categorize the very same mental "features" (as we jokingly call "bugs" in computer software) that immobilized my thinking for much of my life.  My friend Carla, a woman of exceptional insight, once again pointed out a small detail with enormous implications that I had never really thought about, despite its everyday occurrence and its impact on all of our lives.  My off-the-wall friend Zephram Stark (when I hear my English friend use the word "loopy", I often think of Zeph), despite creating his own reality that implausibly includes both me and Over Unity, still manages to provoke trains of thought in my mind that lead to new and revealing understandings about the human condition.  Yes, these "strangers" (stranger than me, I suspect) that I have never met have enriched my life.  These are all wonderful gifts (found in the comments of my prior blog), and I felt very blessed on my 55th birthday.

And then, when I thought the day couldn't be better, another gift fell out of the sky into my lap.  That gift was from the mind of one man.  Of course, he is only the latest link in a longer chain.  He stands on the shoulders of giants, and he readily acknowledges it.  But he probed farther with stubborn curiosity and determination, going where no man has gone before, at least not in the last 10,000 years or so.  Chances are nearly 100% that you have never heard of this man or the giants on whose shoulders he is perched.  That is revealing in itself, especially when you consider that you have probably all heard and accepted as fact the conventional and absurd explanations for the structures he is investigating.

This is the story of a water pump.  It doesn't involve motors, or diaphragms, or coiled springs, or even steel.  Instead it involves the simplest of things, like stone, precision, gravity, physics, and thinking (something we are encouraged to avoid in our "bread and circus" society -- why is that?).  Perhaps "simplest" is a poor word choice here.  Instead, let's say it involves the most "fundamental" of things.  And finally, it involves one of the largest, "in-your-face" mysteries in the entire world.  No, it's not my "why is that?" question.

This time, for a long list of reasons, I'm not going to spoon-feed the puzzle pieces to you.  I want you to learn to feed yourself.  Like any child being weaned from his mother's breast, many of you are not going to like this.  Hopefully later, like that same child, you will understand and be grateful.  At least, that is my hope.  Should this exercise fail to have the desired result, the fall-back position is that I am, of course, a crazy idiot.

What is the Matrix?

"Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real.  What if you were unable to wake from that dream.  How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n0hKTizFwY

I awoke from a dream this morning.  The dream was rife with complex texture, vivid visuals, rich personal experience, and deep meaning.  It was more real than my waking world.

It was more real than my waking world ?!!

"Ironically, this is not far from the truth."

I was part of another matrix for nearly 50 years.  I believed what I saw on television, what I read in newspapers, and what others told me.  Not all of it, mind you.  I thought I could tell the difference between truth and untruth.  I was wrong, but I didn’t know it.  I was taught history in school, unaware that most history was lost, and the rest had been rewritten.  I was taught religion in church, unaware of the control grid that was designed to funnel my spirit.  I was taught politics and patriotism, unaware of the con-game being imposed on me.  Everything was in place to shape me, mold me, fold me, any way you want me.

Something happened over time, an entire series of unlikely events, like a staircase in shape that led me out of that matrix.  There was "The Matrix", George Bush, 9/11, Chip Tatum, "Zeitgeist", Phil Schneider, Ron Paul, and other prods and pokes that eventually opened my eyes.  I learned to question everything I knew, and I realized that I had to live totally within the realm of uncertainty.

How deep does the rabbit hole go?  Is there another matrix, where reality itself is an illusion?  Where solid matter is mostly empty space?  Where the laws of physics are the dimensions of our self-made prison?  Where life itself is a funny joke, and that amusement is the purpose of existence?

I miss my dream.

Money trumps votes

Oh, really?

Ever wonder what propaganda looks like?  See the picture above?  That's what propaganda looks like.

The message makes sense, though, doesn't it.  It also has emotional appeal.  The best propaganda always has emotional appeal and appears to make sense.  It only makes sense on the surface, however, and the emotional appeal is cleverly designed to prevent you from digging deeper.  Fortunately, a little thought (without the emotion) can reveal why the propaganda is not true, and why the people behind it want you to believe it is.

If you study enough "alternate" history from controversial historians along the lines of Howard Zinn, you begin to realize that mainstream history is often propaganda.  Yes, it is very true that history is written by the victors.  This realization forces you to develop a new theory, based on suppressed history, to explain major human events.  Amazingly, that new theory explains the roots of those events much more accurately than mainstream history.  Indeed, you would expect that to be the case if mainstream history is mostly propaganda.

So, do you believe we can vote them out of office and magically solve our problems?  The truth, which is well covered-up by mainstream history, is that all three branches of our government -- the legislative (Congress), the executive (the President and his appointed Cabinet members and staff), and the judicial (the appointed federal judges) -- have been sufficiently controlled by "outsiders" for well over 100 years.  It's all done with money.  It hardly matters who we put in office.  Show me an American that wouldn't change his vote as a Congressman in exchange for a million dollars and agreeing to remain quiet about it.  Why do you think so many Congressmen remain in office for so long and come out amazingly (but quietly) rich?  There are almost no Americans left with any conviction that cannot be bought.  We have been brainwashed to do almost anything for money, and the people that control the money(the Federal Reserve and international banking organizations) control our country.  They will not relinquish control through any peaceful means.  Why should they?  They are driving this bus, and they like it that way so much that they will use any means necessary to maintain the status quo, including violence (like publicly blowing out President Kennedy's brains in broad daylight).  So it's worth repeating that they will not relinquish control through any peaceful means.  If we want control over our lives, if we want liberty and justice for all, we're going to have to take control of the money by force.  And that's something Americans can no longer fathom.

Because of all the propaganda that money buys.

My John Hancock

There are rumblings in this nation, and rightfully so.  The crimes are heinous, the injustice intolerable, and the deception disgusting.  The dystopia foreseen in 1949 by George Orwell, portrayed in his book 1984, is upon us in living color.  Those Americans still capable of independent thought and critical analysis are searching for answers.  It is not unexpected that they should look back into the past at the example set by their illustrious forefathers, who on July 4, 1776 publicly declared their independence from the oppressive government that ruled over them.

I have come down that same path and arrived at that same destination.  I no longer accept the government forced upon me, and I too feel the need to declare my independence.  I started to take matters into my own hands and began to write my own declaration, but then I stopped.  Surely others have preceded me, and this new Declaration of Independence must already exist.  I need only search for it.  I did, and I promptly found it.  It was very much like what I would have written myself, and I was anxious to add my name to the long list of signatures that would surely accompany this splendid document!  I signed, and then I quickly clicked to view all the other brave souls who would testify to their displeasure with the current government.  Alas, other than the original editors of the document, there was but one signature -- mine.

John Hancock is known to be the first delegate to sign the Declaration of Independence.  What is not widely known is that he was the only delegate to have his name attached to the original type-set copies released to the public.  From the British perspective, the only traitor acknowledging his role in creating the Declaration of Independence was John Hancock, a precarious position indeed for Mister Hancock!  It took six long months before a second series of type-set copies was released to the public with the names of all signers listed.  Most delegate signatures, including John Hancock's written signature, were not collected on paper until nearly a month after the Declaration was written, when a special hand-written parchment copy was signed on August 2, 1776.  This copy was not publicly circulated and is the one displayed in the National Archives in Washington, D.C.

So, like John Hancock, there is only one "traitor" associated with the new Declaration of Independence, a precarious position indeed for me.  I only hope that I don't have to wait six months to see other signatures join mine.
